WELCOME BACK!
We look forward to working with your children
and enabling them to embark on many new journeys!
This term, our focus is on the everyday heroes who keep us safe and healthy: doctors, firefighters, police officers, and more- we will learn about their roles and how they help our communities. Our young learners will be focusing on phonics, laying the foundation for reading and writing. In addition, our school leavers will start to learn to trace their names!

Please ensure that you are on time when dropping off and collecting from Nursery
sessions. Being on time means the children get into the best routine from the very
beginning of each session and don’t miss any group and carpet time.
The session times are:
AM: 9.00 - 12.00
PM: 12.00 - 3.00
Please use Tapestry to share photos of special events or activities your child has enjoyed outside of school. We can use these to talk to your child about their home life and things they enjoy. They love to share their lives with us.
We are really enjoying using Tapestry in Nursery and have lots of evidence of the children’s fantastic learning! Your child will have at least 1 new observation each week, so do log in so you can see what they have been busy doing at Nursery. If you are not yet signed up, please contact Bhaggya ASAP.
Home learning - Each Friday, we will be posting a link on Tapestry for phonics practice, allowing children to continue learning at home!
During snack time, all children are provided with a healthy snack and a choice of either milk or water to drink (snacks from home are not necessary). We kindly remind all parents that only water should be placed in children's water bottles for nursery. Please ensure that if squash is used, it should not be strong, as we strive to promote healthy hydration habits among our little ones.
If you find your child's water bottle full, it's because our nursery offers milk and water throughout the day to keep them hydrated and nourished.
If you child is staying for lunch time, ensure that they have been provided with a healthy packed lunch!
Please remember to check that all items your child brings into Nursery are named, so that we can make sure items return to the correct child. As you can imagine, the children muddle up their things quite easily, so we regularly do have to check names!
This includes jumpers and cardigans, coats, bags, drinks bottles and wellies.
Please make sure not to use your phone when you are picking and dropping off your child to ensure that you don’t miss out on any important information.
